Babble #26 - B.Des graduation project

Sustainable urban public space intervention | uncanniness | surialism | temporality
Designed by:  Matan Golan

In a restless world in which work becomes an integral part of a person's daily life, a process of diffusion provides a distortion between time and life. Our mind is overloaded, the workplace becomes a second home while the house is forced to assume new functions. The blurring of the border cracks the institution of the house - and places the person as an urban wanderer, moving between shells with "domestic" functions. Potentially, nomads harbor vigilance - but this is not exploited because our knowledge is not available. How can one be alert to his surroundings and call upon him to respond to her? This project examines the reaction of people to a temporary and nonsensical event, which turns the street into a temporary playing board - in order to provide people in the space with a trigger for arousal, curiosity and action in free consciousness.
