Diffused Topography

Environment design project for Haruzim neighberhood, Ramat Gan, Israel.
Designed by: Matan Golan

Haruzim neighborhood is found in Ramat-Gan. It’s a fast developing neighborhood. Shenkar College of design and engineering is places in the neighborhood as well. The northern border of the neighborhood is a big metropolin park. This area of the park does not have any gardening, and saves the spirit of the original land. A topographical gap, creates an obstruction between the neighborhood and the park, which makes the local population not use the full potential of the space. Diffused Topography attempts to connect between different populations in the neighborhood (elderlies, families, design student) by creating a new zone who leads gradually into the park while providing sitting places, steps and a ramp – to create a new social event in the neighborhood.
